Philippine Folk Dance

Philippine folk dancing is another must-see entertainment in the country. This dance takes place on Sunday afternoon, between 3 and 4pm in the Mindanao section of the Nayong Pilipino (Philippine Village). If you miss the show at Nayong Pilipino, you will be able to catch this unique performance at the Josephine Restaurant on Roxas Blvd, Pasay City or the Zamboanga Restaurant on Adriatico St., Malate.

Bars and Pubs

Entertainment hot spots like bars and pubs are becoming increasingly popular for people of all ages, be it young or old. Different people frequent the bars and pubs for different reasons. Many are here to unwind and have fun while others are here to down a few beers and meet people. Whatever the reasons are, most will experience an enjoyable time.

The more popular bars and pubs in the Philippines are Chatterbox at West Ave, Quezon, Manila; Freedom Bar Café at Anonas St., Quezon, Manila; and Hard Rock Café at Ayala Center, Makati.

Nightclubs

In the Philippines, nightclubs have long been an entertainment attraction among locals and foreigners alike. Apart from all the entertainment hot spots available, nightclubs have somewhat improved the nightlife for many party animals. As for many dancing queens and kings, nightclubs offer a place for them to put on their dancing shoes and dance the night away.

There are many nightclubs that have become hot favorites in the country such as Zu in the Shangri-La Hotel Manila, Euphoria in the Hotel Inter-Continental, Ayala Ave, Makati and Moulin Rouge on UN Ave, Manila.

Casinos

If you are feeling lucky, then the casino might just be the place for you. In the casino, there are many types of games for you to try your luck and perhaps, your skills. For first time players, you can try playing the slot machines or 'hungry tigers' as they are locally known at the Holiday Inn, Heritage Hotel and Hotel Sofitel Grand Boulevard - Manila's three casinos. As for those risk-takers looking for bigger returns, games such as baccarat, black jack, craps, roulette and the oriental game of hi-lo are also being offered.
