The Hotel Vila Ombak
The Hotel Vila Ombak is on Trawangan, one of Lombok's lsand oasis, just off its rugged and verdant North-western coastline. From Bali, Trawangan Island is only a 25-minute, low cost flight to Mataram, Lombok's capital city. Arrangements can be made with Vila Ombak for transportation from the airport. After a scenic 50-minute drive that hugs the Western coastline, our outrigger or speedboat will bring you to the island in less than 30 minutes. Or, if you want to make it your own way, Lombok's little Bangsal harbour offers boat charters until late in the afternoon.

The Hotel Vila Ombak provides two types of guest rooms: The "Lumbung"-huts, with their romantic and exotic charm, make the most of outdoor living. The luxurious terrace is open to both the early morning sun and the moon and stars at night. At the height of the noon day sun you can withdraw into the cooling shade of the round table, hammock or Bal? (a large elevated sitting area). The semi-open bathroom allows you to enjoy your shower in the bright sunlight, while the Lumbung room upstairs is a cozy nighttime retreat.
