Day 1 :
Upon arrival, you will be met and transfer to the Royal Mulu Resort. At 1400 hours, depart for the Park Headquarters where your guide will lead you to a 3km hike through Mulu’s amazing tropical rainforests. Discover Land Cave and its beautiful formation, and walk through the World’s largest cave entrance; the Massive Deer Cave. Relax at the open air observatory for an opportunity to witness the phenomenon exodus of millions of bats out of the caves, spiraling high overhead and ascend to the sky where they will search for food. Hike back to the Resort by 1900-2000 hours. Dinner served in the hotel. |
Day 2 :
At 0830 hours, meet at the Resort and your guide will lead you to take a long boat that bring you through the winding rivers to a tribal “Penan” settlement. Continue up river to the enchanting Wind and Clearwater Caves of Mulu. The Wind Cave is famous for the naturally “sculpted” column and pillars of the King’s Chamber while the Clearwater Caves was formed by the waters of the 118km long cave system. You may take a swim at the refreshing Clearwater! The highlight of the visit must be to see the Rajah Brooke butterflies hovering around the river and entrance of the caves. A most unique sighting of nature well protected and conserved. Return to the resort by boat for your onward transfer to the airport. |

After breakfast, free at leisure until your departure transfer to the airport. |

Day 1 Meet on arrival at Mulu Airport and transfer to the resort. In the afternoon, we will register at Mulu National Park Headquarter. Take the 3km plankwalk to explore Lang’s and Deer Caves. We will watch the bats flight if weather permits. Return to the Park Headquarter and transfer to resort. Overnight at resort. (D) |
Day 2 :
Breakfast at resort. We will take a boat in the morning travelling upstream on the Melinau River to explore Wind Cave. Later after lunch at Clearwater Hut, we will travel by boat to Long Litut. We will trek through lowland forest for 8.8km to Camp 5. Dinner and overnight at Camp 5. (B/L/D) |
Day 3 :
Breakfast at resort. We will ascend Mt. Api to an elevation of 1200m to view the Pinnacles. Packed lunch at the viewpoint before we descend to camp 5 for dinner and overnight. (B/PL/D) |
Day 4 :
Breakfast at camp. We will trek back to Long Litut and take the boat to Clearwater Cave. Explore the cave and lunch at Clearwater Hut before our boat transfer to the airport. (B/L) |
