Recreation
Guided activities - light or adventurous - are conducted daily at Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa.

These include jungle trekking, beach walks, nature walks and bird watching. Informative tours such as those to visit nearby villages and traditional houses are also available.

Within the Resort’s 30 acres of lush gardens there are 3 swimming pools, including a safe and fun children’s pool. Also found here are the 3-par Executive Golf Course, a children’s playground and floodlit tennis courts.

Water sports
A wide array of water sports activities is available at the resort. These include windsurfing, kayaking, sailing and cruising, fishing, diving and snorkelling. Private boat rentals and sea excursions can also be arranged.

Hotel Shop
Strategically located on the Main Wing, the retail outlet provides every necessity sought by travellers - suntan lotions, toiletries, magazines, chocolates, beachwear and even wines, among other things. There is also a souvenir corner in the shop that displays local handicrafts, artefacts and picturesque postcards of beautiful Malaysia.

Clinic  
A medical centre, fully equipped and professionally staffed, is open 7-days a week at the Rasa Wing. A resident doctor and nurse are on standby all the time for the benefit of guests.

Spice Garden
Tucked in a charming corner of the Spice Market Cafe, the Spice Garden exhibits the fresh herbs and spices of Malaysia that give local cuisine its aromatic, spicy taste. Guests will be able learn about various exotic ingredients that are used for cooking, not only at the Resort’s restaurants but also at the homes of all Malaysians.

Spice Boutique
A truly unique place, the Spice Boutique features more than a hundred dried herbs and spices with varieties of curry powders and other traditional ingredients that guests can take home. For those who love Asian food and souvenirs, a visit to the boutique, where a selection of recipe books is also found, is a must.

Beauty Salon
Located at the end of the Health Club towards the Rasa Wing, the salon has a complete menu of beauty services including hair care, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing.

Health Club
Located in between the 2 wings with a view of the landscaped garden below, the gym's cardiovascular equipments include treadmills, crosstrainers, step machines, rowing machines and stationary bicycles with a TV heart monitoring system.  A flat-screen TV can be seen at most stations, including at the aerobics studio. 

The aerobic studio comes complete with audio visual capabilities, aerobic weights and step classes. Guests may also use sophisticated strength equipment and free weight area facilities at the weight lifting area.

The separate changing rooms for gents and ladies are fitted with lockers, showers, dressing and grooming areas, saunas, steam rooms and Jacuzzi (Hydro tub).

Meeting Facilities
The Resort is an ideal location for executive retreats and incentive group gatherings. The Pelangi Grand Ballroom has been intelligently linked to 14 other variously sized meeting and function rooms, and can accommodate 400 people for a banquet.

The ballroom has a direct access to the car park area. State-of-the-art audio and visual equipments here include a satellite TV conferencing facility, electronic projections, simultaneous microphone and PA systems, remote control screens and built-in sound systems. 

Business Centre
The Business Centre is fully equipped to offer full secretarial services, Internet workstations and even private office space. The advanced nature of the Resort’s design enables wireless high-speed Internet access to be available throughout its premises, including the gardens and poolside areas.

Laptops and mobile phones are also available for rental at the Business Centre, which is conveniently sited near the meeting and function rooms.

The Resort has 7 restaurants & bars and a 24-hour room service.

Feringgi Grill
Elegantly situated on the charming Mezzanine floor of Rasa Wing, this dining area gives a breathtaking view of the grounds and gardens of the Resort. The award wining continental restaurant named after the legendary beach on which the Resort stands is open daily for dinner.

It serves some of the most exquisite traditional favourite delicacies and signature dishes. The wine cellar here carries many unique vintages as well as an extensive cigar list. There are also two private rooms to accommodate gatherings for 8 and 22 people.

Spice Market Cafe
The Spice Market café is a casual restaurant that offers authentic ethnic cuisines from diverse cultures - Chinese, Indian, Nyonya-Baba, Japanese, Vietnamese and also Western. Located on the ground floor of the Main Wing, this informal venue is right beside the unique free-form swimming pools under lush rain trees.

The entrance of the cafe is graced with a Spice Boutique where guests can learn and obtain some of the most exotic spices in Asia.

Guests may also dine at the air-conditioned dining hall where they can look through the “theatre” kitchen/noodle/fruit juice bars to watch how chefs prepare the dishes that have been ordered. 

Outdoor seats are also available at special timber decks overlooking the sandy expanse of Batu Feringgi beach. Having breakfast outdoors amid a morning sea breeze, under a canopy of century old rain trees and surrounded by chirping tropical birds of the gardens, makes for a truly unforgettable experience.

Lobby Lounge
On the fringes of the Main Wing is an elegantly designed lounge that provides a refreshing meeting venue for casual conversations or to just relax on comfortable sofas over cocktails or afternoon tea.

Every night, guests are treated to live entertainment that includes a pianist and strolling musicians who keep guests’ feet tapping to the rhythm in a truly congenial atmosphere.

Tepi Laut
Appropriately named for its intimate proximity to the shore, this bar and restaurant is also located next to the Resort's 3-par Executive Golf Course. With its roof architecture resembling a palace of the ancient Malay Sultanate, this breezy outlet is just 30 feet away from the lapping waves of the beach.

Surrounded by swaying coconut trees, the outlet offers fruit juices, mock tails, cocktails, fresh salads, sandwiches, burgers, entrees, Spa lifestyle cuisine and Asian favourites.

Pinang Bar
The ‘Pinang Bar' is a poolside bar offering al fresco dining at it finest. Located beside the beach, its picturesque timber decks extend to the rim of the swimming pool while overlooking the scenic stretch of Batu Feringgi.

The ambience here allows for an ideal venue to breath in the sunset or meet new friends around a bar. Lunch, dinner or between-meal snacks are served here. Each sunset is marked by the strike of a gong, which announces the beginning of happy hours.
