This relaxing half day tour takes you to two of the more popular "breathing place" of the city folks. Situated just outside the city boundary and yet a world away from the hustle and bustle.

We begin our tour with National Zoo, the largest zoo in Malaysia and situated just outside the city limits and get a world away from its hustle and bustle.

The National Zoo houses some 200 species of animals, birds and reptiles,while the aquarium had 60 species of marine and fresh-water life, within line extensive grounds is an area for sea lions where visitors can see them being most active during feeding time.

Next,proceed to the Royal Selangor Factory where upon arrival, you will be taken for a tour at the Pewler Gallery. The Gallery offers a host of interactive displays and fascinating exhibits, aimed at educating and titillating the senses. From the Gallery, we continue with the highlight of today's tour - School of Hard Knocks'.

Using just a few simple tools [hammer, wooden mould, scraper], make a pewler dish personalised with your initials as message that you wish to engrove onto the dish. Step by step, the experienced pewlersmith will guide you though the simple processes of forming, scroping, polishing and packing.

The finished dish is for you to keep, along with an apron as a momento. A personalised certificate will be presented to you to attest to your newlound skills.

The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Putra Jaya takes approximately 50 minutes via the highway.

Our first stop will be Taman Warisan or Agricultural Heritage Park - a 'living' museum for mango, rubber, cocoa, palm oil, durian, jackfruit, herbs and etc.

A demonstration on the entire rubber-manufacturing process from the time it is tapped and churned out as fully smoked sheets will be shown during the tour.

Next, proceed to Putra Jaya Government Centre, there are numerous new government complexes located in this new township.

The most imposing structure in Putrajay is the thin pinkish Putra Mosque.

Standing beside Dataran Putra and lacing the Putrajaya Lake.

It incorporates architechtural elements from Turkestan, Kazakhstan and Morocco. Another eye-catching building is the Prime Minister's office - Putra Perdana.

Other interesting places are Putra Bridge, Prime Minister's residence.
