KINABALU PARK WORLD HERITAGE EXPERIENCE
Rising majestically to a height of 4,095 metres (13,432 feet) above sea level, Mt. Kinabalu is the highest mountain in South East Asia and one of the nature site with a recognized World Heritage Status in Malaysia. An excellent challenge to all climbers and a paradise for those who simply admire nature. |
Itinerary:
Day 1:
For Climbers
Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu Airport (*Preferably book your own flight to arriving K.K before noon.), meet and transfer to Mount Kinabalu. Overnight at Wildlife Mountain Lodge. (Lunch and Dinner is included.)

For Non-Climbers
Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu Airport (*Preferably book your own flight to arriving K.K before noon.), meet and transfer to Mount Kinabalu. Overnight at Wildlife Mountain Lodge. (Lunch and Dinner is included.)

Day 2:
For Climbers
Proceed to summit trails to Laban Rata passing various vegetation zones with wealth of pitcher plants, birds and other wildlife. Overnight at Laban Rata Resthouse/Gunting Lagadan Hut (whichever is available.) (Breakfast, Packed Lunch, Dinner is included). |
For Non-Climbers
Full day tour to Kinabalu Park. Visit the Mountain Garden, watch mountain slide show and explore one of the many nature trails in the Park. Overnight at Wildlife Mountain Lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.)

Day 3:
For Climbers
Ascend to the summit before sunrise and enjoy the spectacular view from the peak of Mount Kinabalu. Return to park. Transfer to Kota Kinabalu.
Then, Overnight in Kota Kinabalu. (Name of hotel will be advise at the time of confirmation.) ( Breakfast, Lunch included.) Dinner is on your own expenses.

For Non-Climbers
Visit Poring Hot Spring. Trek to the canopy walkway and observe the wildlife from the canopy walkway or enjoy a sulphuric water bath at the springs before transfer to Kota Kinabalu.Overnight in Kota Kinabalu. (Name of hotel will be advise at the time of confirmation.)( Breakfast, Packed Lunch included.) Dinner is on your own expenses.

Day 4:
For Climbers
Transfer to Kota Kinabalu Airport for flight home or extension stay can be arranged.

Useful Information
Wildlife Mountain Lodge .Located 1km away from the Park. It has 16 rooms with private facility. Mosquito proofing, heating, hot water, electricity throughout and restaurant services available. Good view of Mt. Kinabalu, very quiet and peaceful, gardens and jungle trails available for walking and bird watching.
Laban Rata Resthouse ~ located at 3,353m above sea level on Mt. Kinabalu. Basic facilities available with electricity throughout, heating and restaurant services available.
Things to bring
Warm clothing, wind breaker, raincoat, gloves, hat, extra thick socks, good walking/trekking shoes, insect repellent, small drinking bottle, small rucksack/backpack (other items not required climb can be kept at the lodge), high-energy food supplies (i.e. chocolate, raisins, glucose sweets) and other items of personal usage. Climbers are highly recommended to go through physical training before the climbing challenge. |
