| Itinerary |
- Day 01: Arrival Hanoi - Sapa (Dinner)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, meet and pick up by our tour guide. Transfer back to Hanoi Visit Tran Quoc Temple, Temple of Literature
(The first University of Vietnam). Dinner then take the night train to Sapa. Overnight on train. (
Hanoi – Lao Cai Train Timetable: departs 21:15 – arrives 05:30 hrs)
- Day 02: Sapa - Cat Cat Village (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Arrival to Lao Cai Railway station at 05:30 AM, transfer to Sapa, have breakfast then leave luggage at hotel, star a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Then, continue trekking 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way and take a jeep to return to Sapa.
Afternoon : Free time to see the local market, local Stone church, shopping in boutique shops in the center of Sapa or free clump to Ham Rong mountain ( Exclusive entrance fee). Dinner and Overnight in Sapa.
- Day 03: Sapa - Lao Chai - Tavan - Laocai (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Leave luggage at the hotel lobby. Trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Day tribes then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. You to discover their daily life, works and special custom, enjoy landscapes…Have a picnic lunch on the way. Back to Sapa. Free time for quick shopping and relax. Then we transfer to Lao Cai to overnight train trip to Hanoi in shared sleeping compartments of regular train (sharing with other passengers in 2 lower & 2 upper berths per compartment). Train departs at approximately 20:15hrs.

- Day 04: Hanoi - Halong (Noodle Breakfast, Lunch, Seafood Dinner)
Upon arrival Ha Noi railway station, have breakfast with Pho – Vietnamese noodle at local restaurant. Take Hanoi city tour covering Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (Close on Monday, Friday & from Sep – Nov for maintenance)& Residence, One Pillar Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant, then proceed to Halong town. Halong Bay was awarded by UNESCO as a world natural heritage in 1994 and now become one of new 7 Nature Wonders of the World. Take 4 hour drive will show you the diversity of the North Vietnam villages and rice fields along the journey. Dinner and overnight in Ha Long.
- Day 05: Halong - Hanoi (Breakfast, Seafood Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, board on cruise and start 4 hour cruising among limestone islands and photograph of stunning landscapes of Ha Long. Savor your lunch on board while passing by beautiful islets. Passing by a fishing village to see local fish-men community and know more about their life. Cruising further to take photos of Ha Long Bay symbol, a “Fighting cock” rock. Visit Paradise Cave (Thien Cung cave) – one of the most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay. Lunch will be served on boat with the fresh seafood. Back to Ha Noi, visit Hoan Kiem Lake. Free for shopping at 36 Ancient Streets. Enjoy Water Pupet Show. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
- Day 6: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, transfer to Ninh Binh to visit Tam Coc. Climb board a tiny boat for a peaceful cruise along the river to see Three Caves (Tam Coc was known like Halong Bay on land), continue to visit Bich Dong (Blue grotto). Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to Hanoi. Free for shopping. Dinner then overnight in Ha Noi.
- Day 07: Hanoi Departure (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel. Free at own leisure. Transfer to the airport for departure flight.
