How to Get There
Sipadan Island, Mabul Island and Kapalai Island are very near to each other. These 3 islands are off Semporna town, East Coast of Sabah, Malaysian Borneo.

• From your location, fly to Kota Kinabalu, then fly for 40 minutes to Tawau.
• From Tawau, go to Semporna by bus or taxi which will take about 1 hour.
• From Semporna, you will take the resort speed boat to Mabul Island where your resort is located.
• The boat ride will take another 45 minutes.
• Mabul Island will be your gateway to diving around the 3 islands.

If you prefer a leisurely pace, you can spend a night either in Tawau or Semporna. Tawau is the bigger town compared to Semporna. But both offer unique experiences and excellent fresh seafood.

Today, Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resort has 30 luxurious and roomy water chalets to offer complete with hot and cold shower with bath tub, abundance of fresh water from mainland for daily use.

The Resort offers great food, surprisingly roomy and elegant twin-sharing wooden chalets with huge private balconies and attached bathrooms, and a couple of miles of walkways for those who like to take their morning jog while looking at thousands of fish just a few inches beneath their feet.

As for dining, enjoy a sumptuous meal served in buffet style under the terraced, open central structure. A big western sundeck with sitting area allows divers to have an evening drink or an after-dive chat with a view of Kapalai’s fabulous tropical sunset. It is also the perfect place to share your underwater images and videos after dive. Others enjoy reading while immerse in the cooling sea breeze of Kapalai.
