3 Days / 2 Night Sepilok, Sun Bear, Sukau & Gomantong Escapade

DAY 1 Sandakan/Sepilok Orang Utan/Sun Bear/Rainforest Discovery Centre/Sepilok Jungle Resort (L/D)

• Meet on upon arrival at SDK airport or pick up at respective hotels as listed on above. Transfer to Sepilok Jungle Resort (SJR). Unpack yourself, freshen up. Take a 5 mins. leisure walk to the nearby Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, watching one of the nature’s most endangered animal species, the ‘Orang Utan’ or ‘Man of the Jungle’, in local language swing from branches to branches towards to the feeding station in the forest. Watch the scheduled video show programme (25 mins) and visit to the Exhibition Hall. Lunch enroute at SJR. Afternoon, second visit to the sanctuary for the afternoon feeding. After Sepilok, proceed to Sun Bear Conservation Center to see the world’s smallest bear in its natural environment. Lunch en route at SJR

  Afternoon, second visit to Sepilok Orang Utan Centre. After Sepilok, continue a visit to Rainforest Discovery Centre situated within the famous Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. The Exhibition Centre and the Plant Discovery Centre will bring you lots of information about the nature in the area. After that, a chance to walk on a suspension bridge and ending it with the only Canopy Walk in Sandakan. Standing on 28m above the forest floor is truly amazing. After RDC, back to SJR. Dinner & stay overnight at SJR.

Day 2   SJR/Gomantong Cave & Kinabatangan River O/n (B/L/D)

• Breakfast. By 0915hrs, depart SJR and drive overland to Gomantong Cave. Explore the biggest bird nest cave & limestone cave in Sabah. After cave, drive onwards to Bilit, by the Kinabatangan River. Lunch included at Bilit Adventure Lodge (BAL).  Afternoon by 1600hrs, depart for a boat cruise along the Kinabatangan River to see wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, birds & other wildlife. After cruise, return back to lodge. Dinner & stay overnight in BAL

Day 3  Kinabatangan River – Onwards Journey (B)

• Breakfast. By 0830 hrs, depart Bilit for Sandakan. Departure transfer to Sandakan Airport for flight MH/AK
