Wulai Aboriginal Village

Wulai is an aborigine enclave south from Hsintien, in the opposite direction of Taipei. This mountainous region is home to the Atayal tribe, and here is where you can witness or participate in traditional Atayal cultures. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful sites of the Wulai waterfall and lush vegetation and even take a cable car ride that connects to Dreamland. At Dreamland, there are displays of ethnic performances, a lake for rowing and fishing, bountiful eateries that serve exotic foods, parks for children, and hot springs where one can enjoy a therapeutic bath.

Souvenirs and gifts can be purchased from stores in Wulai. Items such as traditional tribal arts and crafts, wild mountain mushrooms, Chinese herbs, and spices are sold.
